One of my friend wants to marry a boy she knows.But her father is not agreeing may be because of financial status of boys family.But the boy and his family is good. She is very much desperate about this matter. Please let us know if anything she can do so that her father agrees to get married to this boy

Marriage is a life-long commitment, and hence it is really important for there to be compatibility in the marriage. If a girl comes from a really wealthy family and she was brought up with luxury and comforts, then it will be hard for her to adapt to the lifestlye of a person who is struggling to make ends meet.
Secondly, parents wish the best for their child. We should trust the wisdom and foresight of our parents.
However, if your friend still feels that the boy is pious, has good character, and she is sure that she will be able to manage the lifestyle of the boys family, she should make Istikharah and continuous Dua. She should also try to explain to her parents her feelings. If the boy is good for her, Allah will inspire her father to agree.
