QUESTION:

As Salaamu Alaikum,

I have toys for my child which makes rattling sounds, is these toys considered to be music and Haraam?

ANSWER:

Wa Alaikum As Salaam,

A rattling sound is not music and so, the toys with these sounds will be permissible for children. These will not be Haraam.
