Q: Is Bovine gelatine permissible for consumption?

There is a difference of opinion amongst the scholars with regards to whether gelatine undergoes a complete transformation process and therefore becomes permissible for consumption. Hence, it is more precautious to avoid consuming bovine gelatine. However, if someone were to consume it based on the research of those Ulama that have concluded that gelatine is permissible after it undergoes the transformation process, one cannot be deemed to be consuming Haraam.
