Question:
Assalamualaylkum.
Mufti sab, is it permissible to give zakat to madresas/darul ulooms. In ramadhan representatives of specific darul ulooms from india come here and collect zakat. Is it permissible to discharge zakat through them, once we have ascertained that the representative is a genuine person?
