If Someone Is Praying While Wearing a T-Shirt That Has a Depiction of a Creature on It, Is His Prayer Valid

Question:

If someone is praying while wearing a t-shirt that has a depiction of a creature on it, is his prayer valid or should he repeat it?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

It is makruh tahrimi (strongly disliked) to pray with pictures of a full living being that has a soul/ruh (e.g human beings and animals) on one’s clothes.1 However, it will not invalidate the Salah.

If the picture is very small whereby the full details of limbs etc or the animal/human is not clearly recognisable or if it is a picture of one part/limb of the living being then it will not be makruh to pray in.2

Only Allah knows best
