Question

Is doing sin in hope of repentance disbelief?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

It is wrong to do a sin intentionally hoping to repent later. This is an evil trick of the devil and it is not appropriate for a believer. Allah is the one who grants us the ability to repent and we should remember that. The devil whispers this in the hearts to urge us to sin.

However, it is not kufr of disbelief.

Only Allah knows best
