Question

For some reason, Najasah always comes in my underpants and sometimes need to change 2-4 times a day which is difficult at times. Am I allowed to follow the Hanafi rule that small impurity less than 6cm is excused and Salah would be valid with this amount if I prayed 5 prayers with less than 6cm? Is this allowed because my life would be easier and less stress keep changing underpants? Also, how do I measure 6cm is 6cm in diameter?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer

If a najaasat ghaleezah (major impurity) that is thin and flowing falls on the body or clothes, it will be excused if the area on which it falls is equal to or less than a rupee coin in extent. If the person performs his salah without washing it off, his salah will be valid. But to refrain from washing it and to continue offering his salah in this way is makruh. (Bahishti Zewar p 51)
