Fixing the Shares of a Large Animal in Qurbani

In a large animal Qurbani, do all seven shares need to be fixed before purchase, or can the seven shares be sold over a few days?

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful


It will be better for a person to have seven shares decided before purchasing the animal, however, it will still be considered permissible if he did so afterward.[1]
