Question:

If there is no time to do Ghusl can one perform Salah of Janazah in a state of impurity?

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

If one fears missing the Janazah prayer by becoming busy in performing ghusl or wudhu with water, it will be permissible to perform tayammum provided that the person is not the guardian (wali) of the deceased.

This is because the guardian has the right to perform the Janazah prayer later on even if the congregational prayer has been completed whilst others cannot pray it later on.[1]

It should be noted that this is permissible only for the Janazah prayer and not for the five daily prayers.

In regards to your question: it will not be permissible to perform the Janazah prayer in a state of impurity rather tayammum should be performed.

Only Allah knows best
