Answer:
The Prophet (S.A.W.) used to perform the Janazah Salaah in a place delegated for it somewhere near the Masjid. (Fataawaa Darul Uloom, Vol. 1(Azizul Fataawaa), Page 334, Mazaahir-e-Haqq, Vol. 2, Page 113)
It is also permissible to perform Janazah Salaah in the graveyard if a special, clean place has been made for it away from the graves, in such a manner that the graves are not faced when performing the Janazah Salaah. (Raddul Muhtaar, Vol. 1, Page 279, Fataawaa Darul Uloom Mudallal Mukammal, Vol. 5, Page 350, Fataawaa Mahmoodiyah, Vol. 14, Page 285)
