Assalamu alaikum

1. Who was the first to accept Islam – Khadeeja (ra) or Abu Bakr (ra)?

2. How many children did the prophet Mohammed (saw) have?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

1. Khadija (R.a) was the first woman to accept Islam. And Abu Bakr (R.a) was the first man to accept Islam.[1]
2. Prophet (s.a.w) had 7 children. 6 From Khadija (R.a) and they were; Qasim, Zainab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthum, Fatimah, and Abdullah.[2]

 Prophet (s.a.w) also had a son from his slave-girl, Maria, who was sent to him as a gift.[3]
