Can Men Wear a 3 Piece Suit with 13% Silk?

Someone is asking whether the following would be permissible to wear?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

It is forbidden for men to wear pure silk that comes from a silkworm.[1] The Prophet is reported to have said: “Wearing silk and gold was made unlawful for the males of my ummah and lawful for its females.”[2] Wearing synthetic or manufactured silk is permissible.

In the Ḥanafī madhhab, it is permissible to wear a garment where pure silk is less than 50% of its total materials.[3] The specific clothes you asked about contain 13% silk, so they would be considered permissible based on this.
