Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

My husband wants to remarry me as in this regard he gave me KHULA in the month of June 2018 via SMS. My question is that is remarriage possible with him after KHULA.

In the name of ALLAH the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

It is permissible for you to get remarried with a new nikah and a new dowry, as khul’ is equivalent to one talaq ba’in.

However, great consideration and caution should be taken before remarrying. It would be advisable to seek some form of marriage counselling if you do decide to remarry, to ensure that the same problems and mistakes are not made again.
