Question:

If a person has never heard of Islam and its teachings and accepts one GOD will he be considered a Muslim? As it is stated from newton in his famous book “This most beautiful system of the sun, planets and comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful Being.” and he also considered the trinity a corrupt belief. So what is the ruling about such a person? who accepts one GOD but doesn’t believe in Islam as he has never heard about its teaching for example someone living in jungles of Amazon and the lost tribes.

Answer:

Bismillah

The view of Imaam Abu Haneefah is, those who believe in the oneness of Allah Ta’ala but haven’t received the message of Islam will be saved.

(Maariful Quraan V5 P485)

And Allah Ta’ala knows best
