Is working on Eid al-Fitr haram, and what is the ruling on the wages received?

I heard from someone that working on Eid al-Fitr is haram, and I have work for 5 hours on Eid. Are the wages of that 5 hours haram for me?

Answer:

(Fatwa: 1516/1516/M=1433)

It is lawful and halal to earn on the day of Eid like other days provided the income source is not haram. No book says that working on Eid day is haram.
