The holy Hadith says you can keep dogs for guarding and hunting, but many people say not to keep dogs for even hunting or guarding, they say it is haram. Kindly clarify whether it is jaiaz or haram.

In the question mentioned above, though it is allowable but it is better not to keep it in such case also.
