Assalamwalaikum, My Wife has left me in January, 2008 and joined the in a job without my consent.She then filed false 498a criminal case against me and my family in July 2008. I want to know as per Islam Sharia law,for how many years if husband and wife leave seperately then automatically marriage is dissolved(nullified). Thanks in advance, Amin

Nikah is intact until the husband does not give talaq or Shariah Punchayat does not invalidate the nikah according to the Shariah laws no matter how many years pass. As per the Shariah, there is no time limit, which can invalidate the nikah between husband and wife if they live separately.
