Does reinvesting profits in business exempt it from Zakah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Assalam o alikum Mufti Saheb, I have a question about ZAKAH in business: ALHAM DO LILLAH I am doing business which is giving me profits . As it is all my money and I am not using any bank money I need to re invest my profits , every year, into my business for growth. Somebody told me that when you re-invest the profits in your business, then it is rolling money which does not attract ZAKAH ? Can you please guide me in the light of the QURAN AND HADITH ? JAZAK ALLAH O KHAIR for helping me.

(Fatwa: 793/731=L/1429)

The zakah shall be liable on profits if they are reinvested in the business. The one is wrong who suggested that zakah is not applicable.
