Please let me know whether use of lipstick is haram for women?

There is no wrong if it does not contain impure ingredient and the woman applies it for her husband. But by applying lipstick generally a layer settles on lips preventing the water of wudhu and ghusl to reach the skin, so when the wudhu and ghusl will not be valid, the salah also will not be valid. Therefore, in case of applying a woman should clean it while performing wudhu. Yes, if the lipstick is liquid like water, it will not carry this ruling.
