Assalamualaikum I want to know if a father took educational loan for his son then can he perform hajj and hajj is valid or not. The father is only gauranter for the loan and submitted the papers of his property to bank but this laon will be returned back by his son after completing his studies and the father has nothing to do with returning back of loan. Please guide us according to sharia.

Yes, he can perform hajj. However, it is better for him to go for hajj after paying all the debts. If the son takes the responsibility of paying the debt, the father can definitely go to perform hajj. But the son would be sinful if he gives interest.
