Is it okay to sit on a chair while someone recites Quran on the ground or eats food on the ground?

Is it permissible to seat on chaire if 1.Some one reciting quran by sitting on ground-In this case level of quran is low while we will be on higt. 2.Some one eating food by seating on ground- In this case level of food is low while we will be on higt?

Answer:

(Fatwa: 1927/1549=H=1430)

(1) It is alright.

(2) It is makrooh and against the etiquettes of the Quran to sit on higher place before one reciting the Quran.

(3) It is allowable, but it is better for you to sit down on ground like him.
