I want to ask about placement service income. My brother is doing this business in which he provide job to people in different companies and charge half salary of the first month to the people at the cost of this service. Is it lawful or not? Please confirm.

If the salary of those who get the job is already fixed in the companies then the dealing of compensation on the half salary of first month is lawful. But if the salary is fixed after the job is secured then it is not right as the charge is undetermined and unknown. However instead of half salary, he should clearly settle that he would take five or ten thousand, then it shall be lawful.
