Salamualaikum, Zaid was married to Fathima(revert), they have a female child, Zaid Divorces his wife after going through all the formalities with Qazi Sahab and also Marriage Registrar and were leaving separately, the lady completed her Idda period, and she has not gone in to any body’s nikah during this period. Now Zaid wants to marry her back saying that he gave her only one Talaq. Can Zaid marry her.

If Zaid had given only one Talaq then after iddah he can marry her without halalah provided he did not give any other talaq before and after this one.
