What is the kafaarah amount at the moment?

Answer:

The Kaffarah amount is the same as the amount of Fitrah and Fidyah. 

Due to the price varying from time to time, the amount may change from the date of the answering of the Fatwa and the date of you paying the Kaffarah. 

Thus, we advise to confirm the amount of Kaffarah on https://jamiat.org.za where the prices of Kaffarah, Fitrah and Fidyah are updated regularly.
