Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by CouncilofUlama.co.za

Q: If a woman bleeds after the age of 55 will it be regarded as haidh (menstruation)?

A: If the blood is red or black then it will be haidh. If she sees any other colour then it will not be haidh unless during her earlier days she use to see these other colours when experiencing haidh.
