Q: A mother passes away and the son is notified who lives in the same town, but does not attend the janaaza salaat as well as the burial. What will happen to this person (the son) in the eyes of Allah?
A:One of the rights one muslim holds over another is that he should attend his janaazah. This right is more important when the deceased is ones own mother. If this person does not have a valid excuse then he has committed a great injustice towards his mother and he should repent to Allah Taala and make lots of dua for his mother.
