Kurta with Slits

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by CouncilofUlama.co.za

Q: Is it true that the Kurta/Kafni with slits constitutes ‘Islamic dress’ for men as opposed to the Saudi style long Jubba with no slits, which sometimes also has cuff link sleeves and English type shirt collars?

A: According to our understanding the kurta with the slits is closer to the sunnah as opposed to the shirtstyled jubbas.
