Q: What are the responsibilities of a wife? Is it compulsory on her to make food and do home chores or is she doing Ihsan (goodness) towards her husband?
A: Technically it is not the responsibility for the wife to prepare meals for the husband. However we would like to caution that a healthy marriage can never be based on “not my responsibility” attitude. It is when both the spouses goes beyond “the call of their responsibilities” to please each other that the marriage grows and thrives.
