Clothes being Soiled due to a Wound

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by CouncilofUlama.co.za

Q: If a person is regarded as a mazoor (excused) because of a wound that’s bleeding continuously, must he wash his garment which is being soiled by this wound if he wants to perform salah?

A: If he feels thst after washing his garment it will be soiled more than a dirham (approximately the area covered by the hollow of one’s palm) before he completes his salah then he does not have to wash it. If it will be soiled less than a dirham then he should wash his garment before salah. (Fataawa Aalamgeeri, Chapter on Laws of Istihaadah)
