Working at a Bank

Q: Are Muslims allowed to work at banks? As tellers, managers, reps who open bank accounts etc.

A. Employment at a bank should be avoided because of the interest factor at banks. If one is already working in a bank, then while still working there, alternate employment should be sought. As soon as another job becomes available, move on to the new job.
