Q: Which prophets did the Jews slay?
A. The Jews slew many of the Messengers of Allah Ta’aala. A narration mentions that they slew seventy Ambiyaa in one day. (Tafseer Qurtubi V4 P46). Another narration mentions a figure of 300 Ambiyaa murdered in one day. (Tafseer ibni Katheer V2 P104). Names of these prophets are not mentioned but the most famous among them were Sayyidina Zakariyya and Sayyidina Yahya (Alayhimus Salaam).
