Attending a Non Muslim’s Funeral

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askmufti.co.za

Q: My non Muslim employee passed away in an accident. Is it advisable to attend a non Muslim’s burial?

A. One is allowed to sympathise with the bereaved family and offer them condolences. This can be done at their home.

It is not permissible to attend the funeral, nor to enter the church for the service, etc.
You may contribute to the family.
