Contributing on behalf of myself and others for a Masjid Construction

Sir there an ongoing construction in a Masjid I would like to contribute on behalf of myself, my wife(she is a house-wife) and from my Parents. So my question is can I make payment on behalf of my parents and my wife in this Sadqa-e-Jaria or they need to pay from their money to make the contribution and earn blessings from Almighty Allah. And is it necessary for me to tell them that I had made the contribution in the construction of a Masjid on their behalf?

I Need your guidance in regard with this. And I would like you to also share us what Allah and his beloved Messenger (Peace be Upon Him) said in making contribution into Masjid.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible for one to contribute to a masjid on behalf of yourself, your wife and parents[1].

 Also, it is not necessary to inform your wife or parents regarding the contribution you made on their behalf[2].

صحيح مسلم (دار الإحياء تراث) (1/ 378)

فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا لِلَّهِ بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِثْلَهُ

Uthaan Radiyallahu Anhu narrates ‘I heard from Nabi Sallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam say “whoever builds a masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build a house for him in Jannah like it”.
