If a married couple start a business together, and do equal work to build and maintain this business, but the husband divorces this wife, does she get an equal share?

Please clarify what is meant by “start a business together.” Whose money was used to start the business? Did both the spouses invest capital? If so, what was the agreement of the partnership?
