Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh

  1. The aurah of a man is from that portion which is below the navel upto the knee. This will be the same whether he is in salaah or out of salaah.
  1. Regarding the covering of the hands to the wrists, the Fuqahaa mention that is disliked to read salaah whilst the forearm is exposed. This will refer to the situation where a person has folded his sleeves and also to that person who reads salaah with a short sleeve shirt or the common half sleeve kurtahJubbah. This is clearly mentioned in the juristic texts of Hazrat Mufti Mahmood Saheb (nawwarallahu marqadahu).
