Is it necessary to complete 40 days after the child birth and then offer the prayers Or whenever bleeding stops, a lady can have bath and start offering the prayers. If bleeding stops before 40 days then a lady can have bath and start prayers. Regards.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

If bleeding stops before forty days, a woman will have to take a bath and start performing her Salat. It is not necessary for her to wait for the completion of forty days in order to perform her Salat.

وان انقطع الدم قبل الاربعين ودخل وقت صلاة تنتظر الى اخر الوقت ثم تغتسل فى بقية الوقت وتصلى (الفتاوى التاتارخانية 1/390,ادارة القرآن)
