Do the Khawarij still exist? How are their beliefs different from the mainstream Muslims?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org
Answer

The Khawarij sect per se does not exists today.

Some of the Firaq Baatilah (false sects) of today have adopted some of the
deviant beliefs of the Khawaarij. However, the Khawaarij sect as a whole
does not exist nowadays. They differ with the Ahlus sunnah Wal Jamaa on many
issues, e.g. they believe that any person who commits a major sin is out of
the fold of Islam and will remain forever in hell.
