1) Is it permissable to read the quran cross legged?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

1) Is it permissible to read the quran cross legged? 2) What is more important praying qaza namaz or praying nafils bearing great rewards such as Namaaze awabeen, Chast/dhua etc. Or even the standard 2 rakat nafil in namaazes, Is it ok if i miss these to pray qaza namaaz instead? 3) When non muslims begin spreading lies about our Prophet and our religion, is that a sign of Qiyamat? Jazakallah, From a muslim sister

Answer

1. Yes, it is permissible.

2. It is more important and virtuous for one to fulfil all outstanding Qadhaa Salaats. Perform Qadhaa instead of Nafl.

3. No, this had occurred from the very first day.
