Three talaaqs before consummating the nikaah

Q: If the marriage was not at all consummated and the couple got divorced thrice, then is halaala still a compulsion?

Bismillaah

A: If it was 3 in one word then halaalah is necessary.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
