1. Constant recitation of the first Kalimah.

2. Pondering over death and the punishment of Allah will make you stay away from sin. Also, fulfilment of all your religious obligations like Salaat, etc. will steer you away from sins.

3. Recite Aayatul Kursiy in abundance.
