I have been asked by the company I work for to make a video showing good merchandising techniques which they want to distribute to all the stores in the company. Is it permissible to do this?
Answer:
Producing a video using animate objects like people, animals, etc. falls
under the category of picture-making which is strictly prohibited in Islam.
Producing a video without such objects in it is permissible.
