I was 19 , loved a boy who wanted to marry me. i hated to go out with him, but he said if u love me , you will come , and i did. and we kissed eachother a number of times.but then he left me saying his parents didnt agree.i felt so betrayed and as punished by ALLAH, i pleaded for mercy and forgiveness.but got no peace of mind and tried to commit suicide but was saved. i am 22 now and not married , i want that man to come back and marry me, he is also unmarrried yet. i have no other proposals also which make me believe that Allah hasnt forgiven me thats y i am deprived of happiness .
Premarital relationships are not permitted in Islam.
They have very devastating and negative effects on one, physically,
spiritually, mentally and morally. The very common being that of aids,
depression, etc. all those who become involved in such relationships find
that they are remorseful over such relationships.
It is a welcoming note that we are shown or realize our wrongs in this
world, when the doors of repentance is still open. Allah Ta’ala will forgive
if we are sincere. However, we get tested to see if our repentance is
sincere or not. Be patient the correct spouse will be found at the time when
Taqder is written for it. Allah Ta’ala says in the Qur’aan, ‘O you who
believe! Do not despair in the mercy of Allah.’
