Is it allowed to send/receive religious mails and information to a gayar mahram ?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

Any sort of contacts(mail, phone) in terms of personal matters with gayar mahram is prohibited. But Is the following allowed ? I wish a good islamic life for a gayar mahram, whom i can’t marry. But i would like to send/forward religious mails which would benefit. Sending mails just for the sake of good Islamic life. What else i can do for the better life of that non-mahram according to sharia ? Expecting your reply.

Answer

Shaytaan is our enemy. He decorates his ideas in different ways and fashions, some times in Islamic avenues too.

Therefore we suggest you abstain from any contact with any ghair mahram, as that is prohibited in Shariah.
