Dear Mufti Saab,
I need answer little urgent,
as per your fatwa no.17773 child abortion can be done if the baby is developed with below problems with in 120 days.
“Proven abnormalities, e.g. Anencephaly (no brain), Downs Syndrome, Trisomy, HIV positive, congenital rubella health.”
Now becuase of doctor ignorance they find out above problems in 8th month any they want to abort baby immediately .
what we have to do in this case . Please advice us urgently.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is not permissible to abort a baby after 120 days.[1]

جب تک روح نہ آوے اسقاط حکم قتل نفس میں نہیں، لیکن بلا ضرورت مکروہ ہے، اور بعذر جائز اور بعد نفخ روح حرام و کبیرہ و قتل نفس-

جان پڑنے کے بعد ساقط نہيں کیا جائیگا-

لو أرادت إلقاء الماء بعد وصوله إلى الرحم قالوا إن مضت مدة ينفخ فيه الروح لا يباح لها وقبله اختلف المشايخ فيه

هل يباح الإسقاط بعد الحمل؟ نعم يباح ما لم يتخلق منه شيء ولم يكن ذلك إلا بعد مائة وعشرين يوماً وهذا يقتضي أنهم أرادوا بالتخليق نفخ الروح وإلا فهو غلط لأن التخليق يتحقق بالمشاهدة قبل هذه المدة كذا في (الفتح)
