Picture of Nabi (SAW)’s grave circulating by email, is it authentic?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

I have attatched a picture with my Email. Please look at it. Many people have been forwarding it to me and to 1000’s of other Muslim brothers and sisters. Please let me know if it is an “Authentic picture”. And if it is truely what it says it is. Thank you very much. I will send your information (if I get it) to many muslims. Salam Alaikum.

Answer

We have been informed by reliable authorities that this picture is not the
picture of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)’s grave. The grave of Nabi
(Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) is simple, covered with a green cloth similar
to the pattern of the Kiswa. It is a simple stone without any turbans or
sheets around it.

The picture is the tomb of Mawlana Jalaaluddin Rumi, Konya (Turkey).
