Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

It is not permissible to work for an insurance company. Conventional insurance have elements of interest and gambling in them, both of which are expressly prohibited in the Quran .To work for such a company is assisting in sin. Allah says in the Quran ” Do not assist in sin (Maidah).
