What is the (major) difference(s) between Islam and the Nation of Islam, or are they even similar?

I don’t know much about either faith, but the Million Family March was a few days ago, and I’ve heard that the Nation of Islam and Louis Farrakhan are not really related to Islam and the teachings of the Quran.
