Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Your tolerance and forbearance in your marriage especially in view of you being a revert is encouraging and an expression of your strong Imaan. We make dua Allah keep you steadfast and grant you peace and happiness. May Allah change your husband’s habit and fill your house with peace and harmony. Ameen.

We advise you to adopt two measures to address your difficulty.

Firstly, this is a world of means. Adopt all effective means to reform your husband. Refer to your local Ulema and also seek professional help.

Secondly, turn to Allah with dua and zikr. It is our belief that all challenges are from Allah. Allah alone can put positive effect in the means you adopt to reform your husband.

Inshallah, the above two steps will complement each other to bear a successful outcome.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
