Q.) What is the proper method of handshake? Should it be with one hand or both hands? [Shamil. Sri Lanka]

A.) Imaam Bukhari (RA) has mentioned a chapter in his Sahih, ‘The chapter of taking both the hands (in Musaafaha).’ Thereafter, he records the Hadith whereby Sayyidna Ibn Mas’ood, Radi-Allahu anhu, states that Rasulullah Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam held of both his hands. (Bukhari vol.2 pg.926). And Allah Ta’ala Knows Best
