My sister had a dream in which she saw a light green snake in our bathroom. It was lying on the floor by the tub. She saw herself force the snake into a hole (sewer type) using a wooden stick. Is it true that some of the sufia-e-kiraam did not get married their whole life. If it is true why haven’t they got married, what are the circumstances in which a Muslim is allowed to live without getting married . For example it is famous about Imam shaafi that he did not get married. I heard that even in Mecca, Madeena and other cities of Saudi Arabia there is a machine that slaughters animals along with a tape recorder (cassette) that plays “BISMILLAHI ALLAHU AKBAR” . My question is, is there any truth to this statement according to your knowledge, and even if it is true is it allowed in Islam to slaughter animals in this way. Can Muslims eat animals slaughtered in this manner.

I got married last month. So far now my husband is staying in ***** and the first time in his life he is sharing a apartment with a non- Muslim women who is a single mother of two. I have been made aware of a compliance/financial audit job with Federal Reserve. I do have a friend working there who told me that I am qualified for the position there. Federal Reserve is not like a regular bank where it lends money on interest to consumers. It is more of a regulatory body of the Federal Government that governs economy, and other banks for compliance with government regulations. It is the bank that prints currency bills. I am presently working for a large public accounting company and am exclusively working on audits of commercial banks that lends money to consumers on interest. Is it halal for me to accept this kind of Federal Reserve job?
